His Memory

Rivers of water wouldn’t
cover and drown.
The winds wouldn’t carry away,
The whole earth wouldn’t
bury in the ground.
The air, heavy
With clouds wouldn’t obscure.
The fire which burns
Everything else would never devour.
Even Time wouldn’t -
not even the whole fullness of time.
