Excerpt from an e-mail from Adam Greenbaum
One of Omer and my friends, Ajit Vyas, runs a website at Harvard. He started programming in PHP, so he made this game with a dictionary of words that he scrambled around to make anagrams. You got points for figuring out the actual word it was. Anyhow, Omer and I thought it would be funny if we wrote a computer program to solve the anagrams for us, and he ran five different versions of it in parallel. Needless to say, he got the got the top 5 scores by a margin of several hundred percent.
See http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~vyas/scramble.cgi for the scoreboard.
